Note: The job is located at a remote mine site or exploration camp in Northern Saskatchewan, with an immediate start date. We cover your travel (flight or shuttle), meals, and accommodations at the site. Shift work is required, including 11-hour day or night shifts, on a 2-week in-and-out rotation. You must pass a drug & alcohol test.

Reporting to the housing manager, Housing Attendants (Housekeepers) are responsible for housekeeping duties at remote northern sites, such as mining facilities and exploration camps, performed according to contract standards and specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, and wash floors.
  • Dust furniture, vacuum carpets and rugs.
  • Make beds.
  • Clean and sanitize all assigned areas.
  • Collect garbage.
  • Clean rooms to required standards.
  • Follow ACLP policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional considerations:

  • Shift work at remote sites is required.
  • Ability to work compressed workweeks is necessary.
  • Must be a team player.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail.
  • Grade 10 education is an asset.
  • One year of housekeeping experience is an asset.
  • A valid driver's license and safe driving record are assets.
  • Possession or ability to obtain a valid first aid certificate.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, including WHMIS.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform duties.
