Located in Downtown LA’s cultural corridor, Conrad Los Angeles is the city’s newest luxury destination, featuring over 300 rooms, a world-class spa, a 16,000-square-foot rooftop pool deck, 12,000 square feet of event space, and three dynamic dining experiences—including our signature restaurant, San Laurel, all in partnership with Chef Jose Andres' award-winning restaurant group, JoseAndresFoodGroup.

In this role as a Housekeeping House Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of cleaning experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly in English with guests and staff as is necessary to effectively work within the department. Basic reading and writing skills are required. Ability to grasp, lift, carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 75 lbs. Ability to move throughout the building, bend, stoop and reach on a continuous basis up to an 8-hour shift. Ability to use commercial cleaning chemicals. Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work independently and remain motivated and fast-paced. Time management skills. Professionalism along with speed and attention to details.

What will I be doing?
  • General cleans guest rooms by moving furniture and cleaning areas such as edging carpets, washing inside windows, checking drapes, scrubbing bathroom floors, inspecting with a black-light, changing shower curtains, vacuuming.
  • Rotates mattresses on a quarterly basis.
  • Runs daily room status report.
  • Charts all daily activities on progress chart.
  • Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, countertops, walls, vents and floors with specifically assigned cleaning agents. Dispose of trash.
  • Dust all furniture and pictures, clean all windows and glass, and vacuum public areas.
  • Vacuum and dispose of trash in office areas.
  • Handling of linen and trash, transporting to designated areas.
  • Use of washer and dryers.
  • Polish fixtures and vacuum elevators.
  • Maintain appearance of and vacuum stairwells.
  • Clean ashtrays.
  • Clean guest room when needed.

The hourly rate is $24.96 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
