The role of the Cook is to prepare and serve hot items as instructed, following standards specified by the restaurant Chef on duty.

Responsibilities:

1. Promote and embody the VIVÂMEE Values.
2. Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
3. Respond promptly to guest needs.
4. Perform daily cleaning operations in guest rooms, including changing linens, towels, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.
5. Refresh rooms for guests staying multiple nights, including changing towels, making beds, and replacing amenities.
6. Make-up sofa beds when required.
7. Ensure the correct number of towels, washcloths, face cloths, and amenities are provided in each room.
8. Familiarize yourself with all rooms.
9. Restock housekeeping carts.
10. Observe and report repairs or damages.
11. Replace light bulbs, hangers, irons, clocks, etc., as needed.
12. Fold and assemble sheets, pillowcases, and blankets from laundry three or more times per week if required.
13. Decorate rooms with swans and flowers for special occasions.
14. Provide turndown service during special holidays.
15. Strip rooms upon checkout, including taking towels to the basement and sheets and blankets to storage.
16. Remove trash, turn off lights and air conditioning during checkout shifts.
17. Assist maintenance with hall vacuuming and furniture dusting as needed.
18. Sort towels and sheets, operate washing machines and dryers, and fold laundry.
19. Deep clean rooms twice a year or as needed, in coordination with maintenance.
20. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
