NHC HealthCare Somerville is seeking a dependable Housekeeping team member to help provide a clean, comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, residents, families, visitors, and partners.
Clean and sanitize patient and resident rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform other routine cleaning duties.
Empty trash and dispose of waste according to established procedures.
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and equipment as assigned.
Restock housekeeping supplies and report supply needs.
Follow infection control, safety, and NHC cleaning procedures.
Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate leader.
Provide courteous and respectful service while working in patient and resident areas.
Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to follow cleaning, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
Previous housekeeping or health care experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
