Qualifications

• Dependable, detail-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow cleaning, sanitation and infection control procedures.
• Previous housekeeping or health care experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient and resident rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform other routine cleaning duties.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste according to established procedures.

• Follow infection control, safety, and NHC cleaning procedures.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate leader.
• Provide courteous and respectful service while working in patient and resident areas.
