Job summary

Biloxi Lodging is seeking a Housekeeping Floor Technician to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and condition of floors throughout the property. You will use carpet extractors, buffers, and floor scrubbers to meet hotel standards for cleanliness and safety.

The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently or with a team, including flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays. Prior housekeeping or floor-care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping, floor care, or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge of carpet cleaning, carpet extraction, and hard-floor maintenance preferred.
• Ability to operate floor-care equipment, including carpet extractors, buffers, and floor scrubbers, or willingness to be trained.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical usage and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver cleaning equipment as required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify stains, discoloration, and flooring maintenance concerns.
• Ability to follow instructions, manage assigned tasks, and meet established deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional attitude, reliability, and commitment to maintaining hotel cleanliness standards.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
