Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper in Columbia, SC. The role focuses on keeping common areas such as pools, spa, club rooms, restrooms, and laundry rooms clean and well-maintained, with a customer-centric approach for residents.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, safety adherence, punctuality, and after-hours support as needed. This position includes benefits and a non-visa-sponsoring policy for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or trade school diploma and one year of full-time experience in cleaning/housekeeping or equivalent.
• Efficient in reading instructions and documenting labor and materials.
• Record of punctuality and dependability, with flexibility for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand 8 hours or longer and lift up to 100 lbs as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to SOPs, OSHA and industry standards.
• Perform routine housekeeping activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
• Sweep and remove debris from curbs, parking areas, walkways and stairways.
• Deal with requests with professionalism and patience.
• Notify superiors on damages, deficits and disturbances.
• Promote safety awareness to limit property loss and injuries.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and property policies.
• Use appropriate tools and equipment.
• Undertake training related to job duties as necessary.
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude.
