Job summary

NEWCare in Wisconsin is hiring a full-time Housekeeper for our skilled nursing facility. The role is on first shift and focuses on housekeeping and environmental services to support resident well-being.

Starting wage is $15.00 per hour and may be negotiable based on experience. The ideal candidate has at least one year of housekeeping experience, can read and follow written and oral instructions, and works well as part of a compassionate care team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean all bathrooms, counters, mirrors, sinks, and fixtures in apartments and common areas.
• Vacuum carpeted areas and mop tile floors.
• Spot clean walls and windows.
• Dust furniture and empty trash cans.
• Clean baseboards, pictures, lights and HVAC vents.
• Honor additional housekeeping requests from residents.
• Assist with picking up trash.
• Assist with activity room setups and furniture movement.
• Report information to management regarding resident well-being.
• Perform additional housekeeping tasks as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Clean all bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories and fixtures in apartment and common areas
• Vacuum carpeted areas and mop tile floors
• Spot clean walls and windows
• Dust furniture and empty trash cans
• Clean baseboards, pictures, lights and HVAC Vents
• Honor any additional housekeeping request made by the residents during the allotted time
• Assist with picking up trash
• Assist with activity room set-ups, will require movement of furniture
• Report any pertinent information to management directly related to the well-being of the resident
• Perform any additional housekeeping tasks as necessary
