Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of housekeeping or environmental services experience.
• Preferably in a skilled nursing facility, hospital, rehabilitation center, or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of infection prevention practices and proper cleaning procedures.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, offices, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect assigned areas.
• Empty trash and replace liners throughout the building.
• Replenish paper products, soap, hand sanitizer, and housekeeping supplies.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
• Safely operate housekeeping equipment and properly store cleaning chemicals.
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, and safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests while providing courteous service to residents, families, and staff.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in accordance with facility policies.
