Responsibilities

• Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed.
• Establish the schedule and plan daily work assignments.
• Trains and coaches employees in housekeeping duties.
• Manages customer housekeeping problems.
• Inspects and approves staff work performance.
• Demonstrates leadership and provides training to staff.
• Communicates effectively with staff.
• Meets production goals.
• Develops and trains staff on policy.
• Orders cleaning materials and maintains budget.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION PURPOSE

Promotes a professional and comfortable atmosphere for all residents, ensuring that the facility is clean and sanitized for all. The housekeeper supervisor manages the performance of housekeeping staff. Actively involved in department activities and team activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION

• Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed.
• Establish the schedule and plan daily work assignments.
• Trains and coaches’ employees in laundry, housekeeping and dry cleaning.
• Manages customer housekeeping problems.
• Inspects and approves staff work performance.
• Demonstrate leadership skills and training to staff.
• Communicate effectively with staff.
• Meets goals of production.
• Develops and trains staff on policy.
• Orders cleaning materials and maintain budget.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
