Job summary

State of Oklahoma's Beavers Bend State Park is seeking a Housekeeping/Custodial Worker to maintain lodge rooms, guest cabins and other facilities. This entry-level role performs cleaning tasks across park properties to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for visitors.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with a potential raise to $15.45 after a successful one-year trial period with OTRD. Regular duties include cleaning floors, bathrooms, and guest rooms, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to perform tasks that involve bending, stooping, squatting, walking and lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
• Some locations will require a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, dusts, mops, scrubs, washes, vacuums, waxes, and polishes building floors, walls, woodwork, windows, furniture, and hardware.
• Cleans and sanitizes washrooms and bedrooms, keeps washrooms supplied with paper, towels and soap.
• Collects and disposes of trash and garbage.
• Moves equipment and furniture such as beds, tables, and chairs in order to clean effectively.
• Stocks housekeeping supplies.
• Observes and reports safety violations; actively participates in emergency situations.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support daily operations and agency needs.
