Overview

National janitorial cleaning company is looking for reliable individuals to provide commercial cleaning services in shopping malls and major retail department stores. The work environment is pleasant and drug-free. EOE. Background check required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation, and be willing to work weekends.

Job Responsibilities

• Work as part of the housekeeping team cleaning shopping malls or department stores under the supervision of a Site Manager. Work independently and in teams. Tasks may include cleaning entrances, restrooms, various flooring surfaces, food courts, and break rooms, often before or after mall/store hours.
• Perform cleaning duties such as dusting, wiping, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and operating cleaning machines. May operate a diesel-fired hot water pressure washer for sidewalk and entrance cleaning, following all safety protocols.
• During mall/store hours, patrol for hazards, clean spills, wipe down common areas, and perform touch-up cleaning. Restock restrooms, clean food court tables and chairs, and handle trash and cardboard recycling, including operating related machinery.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment like vacuums, scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers to accomplish cleaning tasks.
• Perform other assigned cleaning duties as required.
