Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator in Florida to support guest experiences and VIP service. The role involves coordinating housekeeping duties, engineering, front desk, and laundry to ensure timely cleaning and smooth operations.

You will prepare assignments, manage Do Not Disturb statuses, and help maintain high standards of guest satisfaction and safety in a dynamic resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and distributes assignment sheets/workboards to Housekeeping staff.
• Identifies room assignments and type of cleaning required for each room on assignment sheets/workboards.
• Coordinates VIP service to ensure VIP's needs are met throughout the stay.
• Acts as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Assigns rush rooms and rooms previously on the ‘Do Not Disturb' list to Housekeepers as they occur.
• Communicates with Housekeeping team throughout the day to ensure that vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time.
