Job summary

Hilton Nashville Downtown in Nashville, TN is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team. This full-time, on-site role handles washing, drying, folding, and inspecting hotel linens, maintaining cleanliness and quality standards across equipment and work areas.

Responsibilities include operating washers/dryers, applying cleaning agents per specs, tracking drum fullness, following OSHA guidelines, and assisting in other hotel areas as needed to support operations and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing and drying equipment; load/unload laundry; measure and apply cleaning agents according to product specifications
• Monitor washers' feeder information; ensure drums are full; report irregularities to supervisor
• Set proper drying and cooling times for different linen types
• Fold linen, towels, and pillow cases
• Inspect laundered articles for compliance with quality and service standards
• Clean up machines and surrounding areas
• Follow safety and OSHA regulations at all times
• Other duties as assigned
• May work in other hotel areas to support operations when needed

• Monitor feeder information on washers, make sure all drums are full, and report any irregularities to immediate supervisor

• Folds items (i.e., linen, towels, and pillow cases)
• Inspects laundered articles, to ensure compliance with quality product and standards of service
• Clean up machines and surrounding areas
• Follow safety and OSHA regulations at all times
