Job summary

Candlewood Suites @ NDSU, an extended-stay hotel, is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Attendant to keep guest rooms and kitchens clean and comfortable. This independent, hands-on role requires attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team to ensure an excellent guest experience. Schedule: day shift starting at 9:00 AM, minimum 4–6 hours daily.

Qualifications

• Reliable and detail-oriented.
• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is helpful but not required.
• Able to work independently and manage assigned tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable performing physically active cleaning work.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and fully equipped kitchens.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, sanitize, and clean bathrooms and other guest-room areas.
• Replace linens, towels, and other in-room items as needed.
• Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, condition, and quality standards are met.
• Identify and replace damaged or missing items.
• Complete deep cleaning and special housekeeping projects as assigned.
• Communicate maintenance or room-quality concerns to the appropriate departments.
• Help maintain a clean, calm, friendly, and comfortable environment for guests and coworkers.
• Work independently while cooperating with the housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services teams.
• Follow hotel cleanliness, safety, and quality standards.

Housekeeping Attendant, you'll be responsible for keeping guest rooms clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Because our hotel features fully equipped kitchens and extended-stay accommodations, attention to detail and pride in your work are especially important.

Schedule

This is a day-shift position starting at 9:00 AM daily.

Housekeeping shifts end once all assigned department work is completed, with a minimum of 4–6 hours per day.
