Job summary

Candlewood Suites Fort Myers is seeking a detail-oriented Room Attendant to maintain pristine guest rooms and public areas. You will clean, restock, and sanitize spaces while following safety protocols and brand standards.

The role requires teamwork, physical stamina, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a positive attitude and pride in your work.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred (hotel or healthcare setting ideal).
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, push carts, and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• A positive attitude and pride in your work.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning guest rooms to brand standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms
• Replenishing amenities, towels, and linens with care and consistency
• Reporting maintenance issues or room damage promptly to engineering or management
• Ensuring carts, closets, and storage areas are clean, stocked, and organized
• Following safety and sanitation protocols, including handling chemicals and linens properly
• Assisting with deep cleaning projects and room turns as needed
• Providing friendly, respectful service to guests and responding to requests with urgency
