Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to perform environmental cleaning and disinfecting in assigned areas within a hospital setting. The role features day shifts of 10 hours, from 7:30am to 5:30pm, with weekend rotation to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.

The incumbent will follow established cleaning methods, perform routine tasks, and ensure equipment remains in good working condition, contributing to a safe and comfortable patient and staff

Qualifications

• 2–6 months of experience as an Environment Attendant; hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to follow established cleaning methods for daily tasks.
• Ability to perform routine repetitive cleaning of patient rooms, offices, rest rooms and other areas.
• Must keep all equipment in good working condition.
• Capable of performing duties as assigned by supervisor.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor and Director of EVS, the Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for environmental cleaning and disinfecting. This individual performs a variety of routine cleaning functions in assigned area to maintain a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. Hours are days 10 hour shifts from 7:30am until 5:30pm rotating days to include weekends

Required Skills:

• At least two to six months of experience as an Environment Attendant. Hospital experience preferred.
• Possess the ability to follow established cleaning methods in performing daily tasks.
• Possess the ability to perform routine repetitive cleaning of assigned patient rooms, offices, rest rooms and other areas.
• Must be able to keep all equipment in good working condition.
• Possess the ability to perform periodic or situational duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
