Job summary

The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeping Attendant to maintain guest rooms and ensure pristine condition for guests. You will handle guest departures and stay-overs while delivering a high standard of cleanliness and service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

A true desire to satisfy guests, the ability to stand for long periods, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays are essential to thrive in this role with Hyatt’s guest-first culture and team-oriented

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping preferred.
• Strong guest service orientation to meet high expectations.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, including departures and stay-overs.
• Ensure clean and comfortable rooms for guests.
• Provide high level of guest satisfaction through attentive service.

The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg is an upscale hotel located across from the Woodfield Mall and just 15 minutes from O’Hare. The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg was recently renovated to satisfy a discerning clientele who share a common need for value without sacrifice.

An integral part of the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg’s success will be attributed to this position with a hands-on approach to guest satisfaction and service team stewardship that will dictate first and lasting impressions people have of the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Housekeeping Attendant.

What does the ROLE entail?

• Responsible for servicing and maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms, including guest departures and stay overs
• Strong guest service orientation in order to ensure high guest expectations
• Fast-paced environment that requires moderate amounts of walking and continuous standing
• Ensure clean and comfortable rooms for our guests

Your EXPERIENCE:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs of weight
• Ability to push and pull a cart up to 50lbs of weight
• Capable of standing for long periods of time
• Able to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision
• Unafraid of guest room related tasks and responsibilities
• Takes pride in a job well done
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including, weekends and holidays
• A fun and energized person
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
• Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred
