Job summary

La Quinta Inn Santa Cruz is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable guest rooms and public areas in line with brand standards. You will make beds, clean baths, dust surfaces, and ensure restocked amenities throughout shifts.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. You will collaborate with front desk and maintenance to keep the property bright and welcoming for guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures
• Dust and wipe surfaces such as windows, doors, walls, headboards, baseboards, and furniture
• Replace linens, towels, and guest room amenities; restock supplies as needed
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged/missing items to a supervisor
• Turn in lost and found items in accordance with Company procedures
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean, organized, and fully stocked condition
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas
• Provide courteous and professional service when responding to guest requests
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
