Starting Pay: $17.20/hour

Work Performed:

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for:

• Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and laundry following established protocols.
• Removing linens, disinfecting surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, glass, mirrors, dusting, and polishing furniture.
• Replacing light bulbs, remaking beds, replenishing supplies, and emptying wastebaskets.
• Cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstery, and draperies.
• Using approved cleaning chemicals and operating laundry equipment safely.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas and supply closets.
• Inspecting and sorting laundry, ensuring proper cleaning techniques.
• Conducting rounds to ensure public areas are clean and disinfected.
• Supporting training and performance development of new associates.
• Participating in deep cleaning and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Reporting damages, theft, maintenance issues, and safety hazards.
• Following all safety, security, and company policies.
• Performing other duties as required to fulfill the role.

Qualifications:

Preferred Experience: Previous hotel housekeeping or similar cleaning experience; customer service background.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs regularly; capable of bending, squatting, walking, and standing for extended periods.

Other: Flexibility to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
