Job summary

Cambridge Village of Apex is seeking a compassionate Housekeeping Attendant to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff. You will perform daily cleaning, linen changes where applicable, and ensure infection control practices are followed to help create a true home-like community.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and weekly cleaning of resident apartments and common areas.
• Change and launder linens (where applicable).
• Clean bathrooms, kitchens, furniture, windows, and flooring.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Complete deep cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis (refrigerator defrosting, mattress turning, window washing).
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance needs promptly.
• Uphold infection control and safety procedures.
• Provide warm, professional customer service to residents and guests.
• Support new team members and attend required trainings.
• Perform additional housekeeping or light maintenance duties as needed.

General Summary

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for residents, visitors, and fellow team members. This position is essential to ensuring our community feels like home.

Housekeeping Attendant Key Responsibilities
