Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Prev housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and tools preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices and other areas by providing housekeeping services.
• Ensure optimum sanitation and a clean environment throughout the hospital.
• Follow aseptic techniques by performing specialized cleaning processes using a variety of cleaning devices.
• Follow a daily cleaning schedule according to area needs.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Participate in staff meetings and active involvement in performance improvement activities.
