Nye Health Services is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeping Associate at our Fremont, Nebraska facility. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors in a nursing home setting.

The schedule is daytime, Monday–Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm with every third weekend (8:00am–12:00pm) and half-days on Monday and Friday during weekend rotations. PayActiv offers earned wage access for this position.

Job Summary

As a housekeeping associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Your work directly supports the health and well-being of everyone in our nursing home, ensuring compliance with sanitation and infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning and Sanitation:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and offices.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and equipment to prevent the spread of infection.
• Dispose of trash and hazardous waste in accordance with facility policies and safety regulations.

Compliance and Safety:

• Follow established infection control and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.

Resident Interaction:

• Respond courteously to resident and staff requests for housekeeping services.
• Respect residents' privacy and personal belongings while performing duties.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a clean and comfortable living environment.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or emergency cleaning needs as required.
