Job summary

Nye Health Services is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance professional to keep our Lincoln, NE community safe, comfortable, and running smoothly. In this hands-on role, you’ll tackle a variety of maintenance and repair projects with a supportive team that takes pride in the living and working spaces we provide for residents and staff.

Key to success are practical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond promptly to maintenance requests, with a flexible schedule and a focus

Qualifications

  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to meet transportation responsibilities.
  • Proven experience in general maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexible schedule, including the ability to respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from staff or residents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the setup, repair, and maintenance of furniture, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Maintain safe and organized storage of tools, supplies, and equipment.
  • Follow safety procedures and comply with OSHA regulations and company policies.
  • Document all maintenance work, repairs, and inspections accurately
  • Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and general grounds upkeep as needed.
  • Support special projects and facility improvements as directed by management.
  • Support resident transportation needs as part of the maintenance role, ensuring safe and reliable transportation while delivering excellent resident service.

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Associate is responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks to ensure that all facilities, equipment, and systems are operating safely and efficiently. This role requires hands‑on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond promptly to maintenance requests.
