Job summary

Saint Luke's South is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to maintain a clean and safe facility, including disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, floors and offices. You will be part of Environmental Services, helping to prevent infections while providing compassionate care to patients and families.

This full-time evening position offers a starting rate of $17.50 per hour, with weekend rotation and comprehensive benefits including health, vision and dental, PTO, tuition and education reimbursement,

Qualifications

• Experience: Less than 1 year in cleaning/healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, floors and offices.
• Remove trash and wipe surfaces, maintain clean environment.
• Handle trash/linen/bio removal and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be a positive team player with strong customer service and willingness to learn.

The Opportunity

Saint Luke's South is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to be responsible for the cleanliness of our facility. As a member of the Environmental Services Department, you will be instrumental in fighting against hospital infection. Shift Details

The Shift: Full time position Five day work week Work week - Monday to Friday Rotating weekends (Every other weekend)

The Work

• Accountable for cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices.
• Removing trash, wiping surfaces, and any other tasks related to cleaning.
• Each housekeeper is responsible for their own trash/linen/bio removal and must be able to lift 50lbs.
• We are looking for someone that is excited about working with people and have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, willingness to work, flexible, able to work without any guidance, eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, can be on your feet all day, and a team player.
