Job summary

Saint Luke’s is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to maintain a clean and safe hospital environment. You will be part of the Environmental Services Department, responsible for disinfecting patient rooms and common areas, contributing to infection control and patient care.

A positive attitude, customer service skills, and teamwork are essential as you work with colleagues across shifts. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday with rotating weekends, offering starting pay of $17.50 per hour

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, floors and offices.
• Removing trash, wiping surfaces and other cleaning tasks.
• Each housekeeper is responsible for their own trash/linen/bio removal and must be able to lift 50lbs.

Shift Details

Full time position

Five day work week

Work week – Monday to Friday

Rotating weekends (Every other weekend)

The Work

• Accountable for cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices.
• Removing trash, wiping surfaces, and any other tasks related to cleaning.
• Each housekeeper is responsible for their own trash/linen/bio removal and must be able to lift 50lbs.

We are looking for someone that is excited about working with people and have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, willingness to work, flexible, able to work without any guidance, eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, can be on your feet all day, and a team player.
