Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System in Missouri is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to maintain resident apartments, the skilled nursing unit, and common areas in a clean, safe, and comfortable condition. The role includes cleaning furniture, fixtures, kitchens and bathrooms, floors, waste removal, and occasional laundry support; shift is 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Experience: less than 1 year with a focus on thoroughness and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred.
• Ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean, polish, and disinfect furniture and fixtures.
• Clean, wash, and sanitize kitchen and bathroom fixtures.
• Clean floors: sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and disinfect.
• Remove dirt, dust, grease from surfaces using cleaning solutions.
• Clean hallways, stairways, and elevators.
• Discard waste into proper containers and line with liners.
• Assist with flat linen services and laundry as needed.
• Perform other cleaning-related tasks as required.
• Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

The Housekeeping Associate ensures that resident apartments, the skilled nursing unit, and common areas are maintained in a very clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Responsibilities of these positions include:

• Cleaning, polishing, and disinfecting furniture and fixtures


• Cleaning, washing, and sanitizing kitchen and bathroom fixtures


• Cleaning floors, to include sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting


• Remove dirt, dust, grease from surfaces and windows using proper cleaning and disinfecting solutions


• Cleaning hallways, stairways, and elevators


• Discarding waste/trash into proper containers and relining trash receptacles with plastic liners


• May also help with flat linen services and laundry


• Other tasks related to cleaning


• Shift - 3P to 11:30 P
