Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Full Time Evening Housekeeping Supervisor to manage day-to-day housekeeping tasks and ensure clean, safe hospital areas.

You will assign staff, conduct area inspections, maintain equipment, and train team members while adhering to the 8-step cleaning method and safety procedures. Shift details: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping supervision preferred.
• Familiar with cleaning procedures and chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeepers and ensure areas are cleaned and maintained.
• Assign staff and document area schedules on sign-in sheets.
• Conduct area inspections and communicate issues to incoming staff.
• Share needs, issues, and strategies for each week.
• Ensure tools, equipment, keys and pagers are accounted for and cleaned at shift end.
• Perform housekeeper tasks and train staff members.

• May conduct area inspections.
• Assign staff and document on sign in sheets as to the area scheduled.
• Communicate and share any issues, assignments or tasks to be handled by the incoming staff.
• Share needs, issues, and strategies for each week.
• Responsible for making sure all tools, equipment, keys and pagers are accounted for and cleaned at shift end.
• Perform all housekeeper tasks and train staff members.
• Must know the 8-step cleaning method, all chemicals, and the use of all equipment.
• Is professional and courteous and displays good communication skills.
• Is also responsible for other duties that may be assigned

Shift Details; 11 to 7PM, every other weekend
