Saint Luke's in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to maintain the cleanliness of our facility, focusing on patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices. This role is part of the Environmental Services Department and supports our mission to fight hospital infections and provide care with a positive day-to-day experience for patients.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday with rotating weekends, requiring you to be on your feet, lift up to 50 lbs, and deliver strong customer

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year experience acceptable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Flexible, willing to learn, able to work without guidance.
• On-your-feet daily, positive attitude, team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices.
• Remove trash, wipe surfaces, and other cleaning tasks.
• Handle own trash/linen/bio removal.

The Opportunity

Saint Luke's is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to be responsible for the cleanliness of our facility. As a member of the Environmental Services Department, you will be instrumental in fighting against hospital infection. Our priority is patient care in that we interact with patients daily and have the opportunity to bring something positive to their day to ensure Saint Luke's is "The Best Place To Get Care, The Best Place To Give Care."

Shift Details:

The Shift:

• Full time position
• Five day work week
• Work week - Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends (Every other weekend)

The Work:

• Accountable for cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices.
• Removing trash, wiping surfaces, and any other tasks related to cleaning.

Each housekeeper is responsible for their own trash/linen/bio removal and must be able to lift 50lbs.

We are looking for someone that is excited about working with people and have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, willingness to work, flexible, able to work without any guidance, eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, can be on your feet all day, and a team player.
