Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to keep patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices clean and disinfected. The role supports infection control and patient care in a hospital setting, operating within the Environmental Services Department.

The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and flexibility for evening shifts with every third weekend rotation. Starting wages begin at $17.50 per hour with evening/weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental services or housekeeping preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices.
• Remove trash, wipe surfaces, and manage trash/linen/bio removal.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Be on your feet for the duration of shifts and follow infection-control practices.

The Opportunity ACH is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to be responsible for the cleanliness of our facility. As a member of the Environmental Services Department, you will be instrumental in fighting against hospital infection. Our priority is patient care in that we interact with patients daily and have the opportunity to bring something positive to their day to ensure Saint Luke’s is “The Best Place To Get Care, The Best Place To Give Care.”

Shift Details

• The Shift: Full time position 3:00 PM to 11:30PM
• Weekend rotations (every 3rd weekend)

The Work

• Accountable for cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices.
• Removing trash, wiping surfaces, and any other tasks related to cleaning.
• Each housekeeper is responsible for their own trash/linen/bio removal and must be able to lift 50lbs.

We are looking for someone that is excited about working with people and have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, willingness to work, flexible, able to work without any guidance, eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, can be on your feet all day, and a team player.
