Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to maintain resident and community spaces in our life plan community in Ohio. The role focuses on cleaning resident homes, patient rooms, and common areas to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities include dusting, sanitizing bathrooms, floors, windows, and surfaces; waste removal; and ensuring supplies and equipment are kept in good working order.

Qualifications

• Tenth grade education is required.
• One year of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Dusts furniture, tables, window ledges, lights, beds, high pipes, and other dusting.
• Empties and cleans waste cans and replaces liners.
• Cleans and polishes tables, fixtures, furnishings, and woodwork.
• Cleans, washes, and disinfects bathrooms, sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, and floors, and polishes chrome fixtures.
• Cleans windows and mirrors in bathrooms, entrances, and other areas.
• Cleans all floors and baseboards by disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, etc.
• Vacuums carpets and stairs; maintains supplies and equipment in working order.
