The role supports cleaning routines, restrooms, and floor care while ensuring a welcoming environment for customers, staff, and donors in a dynamic, team-based setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• General Cleaning & Facility Maintenance: sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, wipe surfaces; clean and disinfect restrooms and breakrooms; maintain entrances and public areas; empty trash and replace liners.
• Retail Store Responsibilities: keep sales floors, fitting rooms, restrooms, and donation areas clean and orderly; assist with cleaning store fixtures and fixtures.
• Opportunity Campus Responsibilities: clean classrooms and training spaces; ensure readiness of training rooms; maintain public and staff areas.
• Cockrill Bend Warehouse & Operations Responsibilities: sweep and clean warehouse floors; maintain restrooms, breakrooms, and locker areas; assist around production lines and dock spaces; follow safety practices.
• Other Responsibilities: report maintenance or safety concerns; safely use cleaning equipment; perform other duties to support cleanliness and safety.

This role may support retail stores, the Opportunity Campus, the Cockrill Bend warehouse and operations center, administrative offices, training spaces, restrooms, and other assigned areas. The associate ensures that all spaces meet Goodwill’s cleanliness standards to support positive customer, employee, trainee, and donor experiences.
