Job description

This is an opportunity to work on a casual basis within Ashdown Park Hotel as a Housekeeping Assistant. Working as part of the wider housekeeping team, you will have responsibility for a dedicated number of guest bedrooms, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, as well as maintaining high standards in the public areas of the Hotel.

You will be part of a close-knit and dedicated Housekeeping & Laundry team that maintains the high standards of cleanliness expected by our guests. Your responsibilities include cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms, replenishing amenities, and assisting with the cleaning of public areas. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing the hotel’s excellent reputation and providing guests with memorable experiences. Various shifts are available, including daytime, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare allocated rooms for guests staying at the hotel.
2. Be constantly aware of guest needs and recognize their expectations.
3. Anticipate guest requirements and take appropriate action.
4. Maintain a genuine passion for high standards of cleanliness and presentation with excellent attention to detail.

Key Attributes:

• Experience as a cleaner or housekeeper is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
