Job summary

WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals seeks a dedicated Environmental Services team member to perform housekeeping duties and maintain cleanliness in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes respectful patient, visitor, and staff interactions while adhering to department standards.

The position runs 3pm-11:30pm, with every other weekend and rotating holidays, totaling 40 hours per week. Successful candidates will support hospital policies and contribute to a collaborative environment.

• Supports change by exhibiting willingness to offer and try new ideas.
• Demonstrates the support of the shared values and culture of the hospital.
• Takes ownership for decisions and actions taken. Works with others to make the hospital better.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Successfully pass WV DHHR Protected Services Record Check and WV CARES fingerprint-based criminal background check if assigned to Child Development Center, Chestnut Ridge Center, or Center for Hope and Healing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
