Lexpremier in Lexington, KY is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to maintain a clean, safe environment across the facility. The role handles cleaning resident rooms, halls, and laundering linens in accordance with infection control policies.

Responsibilities include following procedures, using cleaning chemicals safely, and reporting repairs. Candidates should be punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work weekends or holidays as needed to support residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred, especially in healthcare.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Use appropriate chemicals and cleaning solutions as directed.

Description

The Housekeeping and Laundry Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This role includes cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and laundering linens and personal clothing in accordance with facility standards, infection control policies, and safety regulations.

Housekeeping & Laundry Aide Responsibilities:
