Job summary

Sylvan Shores Health and Wellness is hiring Housekeeping Aides to maintain clean and safe living spaces for residents across our community. You will clean bathrooms and common areas, vacuum and mop floors, dust surfaces, and respond to residents' requests with courtesy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of healthcare housekeeping experience and can read, write, and communicate effectively in English to support supervisors and residents.

Qualifications

• One year of housekeeping experience in healthcare.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Must be able to speak and understand English to communicate with supervisors and residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean all bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories and fixtures in apartment and common areas.
• Vacuum carpeted areas and mop tile floors.
• Spot clean walls and windows.
• Dust furniture and empty trash cans.
• Clean baseboards, pictures, lights and HVAC vents.
• Honor residents' additional housekeeping requests within allotted time.
• Assist with picking up trash and activity room setup.

Responsibilities

• Clean all bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories and fixtures in apartment and common areas
• Vacuum carpeted areas and mop tile floors
• Spot clean walls and windows
• Dust furniture and empty trash cans
• Clean baseboards, pictures, lights and HVAC Vents>
• Honor any additional housekeeping request made by the residents during the allotted time
• Assist with picking up trash
• Assist with activity room set-ups, will require movement of furniture
• Report any pertinent information to management directly related to the well-being of the resident
• Perform any additional housekeeping tasks as necessary

Qualifications

• At least one year of housekeeping experience required in Healthcare
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English
• Must be able to speak and understand English in order to communicate with supervisors and residents
