Job summary

Green Acres Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated housekeeping associate to maintain clean, safe patient areas in a non-profit, mission-driven center. Duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, bathroom cleaning, and general sanitation, with emphasis on infection control and patient dignity.

Training on center procedures and MSDS-compliant chemical handling is provided along with opportunities for recognition and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Good communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, damp mop, and wet mop tile floors per center procedures.
• Clean bathrooms, mirrors, windows and dining areas regularly.
• Vacuum carpeted rooms and dust surfaces in patient areas.
• Move furniture for cleaning and report repairs to maintenance.
• Follow chemical handling safety and wear protective gear as required.
• Maintain supplies and assist in proper storage of equipment.
