Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help maintain clean, safe, and inviting spaces for residents and staff. The role includes daily cleaning, linen changes, laundry tasks, restocking supplies, and collaborating with other departments to support efficient operations.

A minimum of one year in healthcare cleaning is preferred, with strong attention to detail and reliable teamwork. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in healthcare cleaning as a laundry aide or housekeeper.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the facility.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and infection control practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms, common areas, and public spaces.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Change linens, towels, and mattresses as needed.
• Restock supplies and linens in drawers.
• Assist with laundry tasks including sorting, washing, and folding linens.
• Maintain a safe environment by reporting hazards to management.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
