Job summary

UNC Lenoir Health Care Environmental Services seeks a Per Diem Housekeeper to clean assigned areas to a high standard. You will interact with patients, families, staff and other personnel to uphold a clean, safe environment and strong customer service.

Minimum 1 year in housekeeping at LMH preferred; Education: Hospitality Training completion. Location is Lenoir MEM and work is a Day Job with 12 hours per week. Onsite position with no overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read daily duty checklists, document times and chemical testing.
• Office skills including telephones, pagers, reading and documenting.
• Recommendation of Supervisor and high inspection performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, timely cleaning of assigned areas.
• Communicate and cooperate with internal and external customers to support the mission.
• Maintain a positive image of the department and hospital through courteous interactions.
