Job summary

Sonesta Hotels is seeking a House Attendant to support the Housekeeping Management Team on assigned floors, collecting dirty linens, delivering clean items, and assisting with public areas. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on guest satisfaction and clean, safe spaces across the property.

Friendly and reliable candidates with housekeeping experience and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English is preferred; other languages are beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities are preferred.
• Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.
• Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Will be required to regularly use commercial cleaning chemicals.
• Will be required to work mornings, evening, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collect dirty linens and trash from rooms.
• Deliver linens and other supplies to Room Attendants.
• Clean designated areas such as public restrooms and storage rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of floor closets and corridors; remove trash; wipe shelves and counters.
• Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Respond to special requests and guest complaints to achieve satisfaction.
• Deliver lost and found items according to procedures.
• May assist with deep cleaning projects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
