Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Nashville, TN is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in accordance with applicable standards. Daily duties include cleaning furnishings and fixtures, waste disposal, and following schedules under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping Services.

On-the-job training is provided to new team members. This is a full-time role with a daily pay option available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• The primary duty is to perform day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping department in line with current standards and regulations.
• Follow the rules and instructions of the Director of Housekeeping Services to keep the facility clean, safe, and comfortable.
• Clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, and surfaces daily as directed.
• Discard waste and relines trash receptacles with liners when needed.
• Ensure that work and cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible.

Job Description:

• The primary is to perform the day-to day activities of the Housekeeping department in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Must follow rules and instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
• Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling unites, in rest rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
• Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner.
• Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible
