Job summary

Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, visitors and staff in line with our standards.

Your daily duties include dusting, mopping, trash removal and keeping resident rooms, dining areas and offices tidy. A high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation and English literacy are required; full-time and part-time shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Must read/write/speak English.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation.
• Experience in LTC preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and team mentality.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Quality Center standards.
• Perform day to day housekeeping services such as dusting, mopping, and collecting trash.
• Maintain resident rooms, dining rooms, offices and all general areas of facility by cleaning restrooms, walls, baseboards, doors, mirrors, dusting, removing trash, sweeping, mopping, wiping down tables and furniture.

Housekeeping Aide Job Description

Provide a clean and safe environment for our residents, visitors, and staff in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Quality Center standards. Perform day to day housekeeping services such as dusting, moping, and collecting trash. Must be flexible, detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task.

Housekeeping Aide Duties Include but are not limited to

Maintain resident rooms, dining rooms, offices and all general areas of facility by cleaning restrooms, walls, baseboards, doors, mirrors, dusting, removing trash, sweeping, mopping, wiping down tables and furniture while making sure to follow all proper cleaning techniques and protocols.
