Apple Rehab Shelton Lakes is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to provide quality housekeeping services in a clean and safe environment. As part of a family-owned company, you will help maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to read labels and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and to take appropriate action.
• Ability to visually assess all aspects of the facility.
• Ability to distinguish smells and temperatures and to hear and respond to pages.
• Ability to walk, reach, bend, lift, grasp, pull, stretch, stoop and have fine hand coordination.
• Ability to lift and move furniture and heavy items weighing approximately 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas of the facility, including resident rooms and bathrooms.
• Plan efficient use of time to meet high standards of cleanliness.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and department.
• Assist in maintaining adequate supplies needed in the department.
