Avalon Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking a Housekeeping Aide for our Wayne, NJ facility. This full-time position offers a stable schedule and a supportive team environment to help maintain clean, safe spaces for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, janitorial, hotel, or healthcare cleaning experience is highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow directions and safety procedures
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas
• Remove trash and replace liners throughout the facility
• Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies as needed
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and report maintenance concerns
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests
• Ensure all areas meet facility cleanliness standards

Schedule:

6AM-2PM, 3 weekdays and every Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities of Housekeeping Aide
