Job summary

Hyatt Vacation Ownership is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to help create welcoming, memorable stays for Owners and guests at HVC. You will respond to guest requests, set up rooms, and ensure areas are clean and inviting while upholding safety and service standards.

Available to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends, you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods; background and drug screening may apply. Join a team focused on care, inclusivity, and growth.

Qualifications

• Background and drug screening may be required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to guest and departmental requests.
• Delivers guest requests and sets up furniture in guest rooms as requested.
• Identifies and reports maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Strips trash and dirty linen from assigned checkouts.
• Ensures inventory of pillows, duvet inserts, and toppers remains in rooms/villas.
• Cleans and maintains assigned buildings/areas daily.
• Uses heavy cleaning equipment such as floor polishers and carpet extractors.
• Stocks linen closets daily with linen and supplies.

As a Housekeeping Aide, a typical day will include:

• Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Delivers guest requests and sets up furniture items in guest rooms as requested.
• Identifies and reports preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Strip trash/dirty linen from assigned checkouts.
• Ensure correct inventory of pillows, duvet inserts, and toppers remain in the rooms/villas.
• Cleans and maintains assigned buildings/areas daily.
• Uses heavy cleaning equipment such as floor polishers, carpet extractors, etc.
• Stocks linen closets in assigned areas daily with linen and supplies.

Guest Experience and Company Standards:

• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals.
• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

To Become a Housekeeping Aide at HVC:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
