Apple Rehab West Haven is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to provide quality housekeeping services and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff at our West Haven, CT facility. You will clean resident rooms and bathrooms on a scheduled basis, ensuring infection control and safety standards are met while coordinating with other staff.

The role requires the ability to follow instructions in English, remain calm under pressure, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• The Housekeeping Aide cleans assigned areas of the facility, included but not limited to: resident rooms and bathrooms, on a scheduled basis to meet high standards of cleanliness, infection control, safety and hazardous communication program.
• The Housekeeping Aide plans efficient use of time, cooperates with all other staff and performs responsibilities with minimum disruption to the residents and staff.
• Maintains a clean, orderly work area and department.
• The Housekeeping Aide assists in maintaining adequate supplies needed in the department.

Job Description:

The Housekeeping Aide provides quality housekeeping services, and a clean, orderly and safe environment for all facility residents and staff.

As defined in job routines or department instructions, the Housekeeping Aide cleans assigned areas of the facility, included but not limited to: resident rooms and bathrooms, on a scheduled basis to meet high standards of cleanliness, infection control, safety and hazardous communication program. The Housekeeping Aide plans efficient use of time, cooperates with all other staff and performs responsibilities with minimum disruption to the residents and staff. Maintains a clean, orderly work area and department. The Housekeeping Aide assists in maintaining adequate supplies needed in the department.

Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hospital or long term care facility preferred.
