Job summary

The Lodge at Mills River, part of SanStone Health & Rehabilitation, is seeking Full-time and Part-time Housekeeping Aides to join our dedicated team in North Carolina. The role includes cleaning patient areas, lounges, and common spaces, with a focus on hygiene and safety, in a supportive care environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, patient rooms, offices, halls, nurses' stations, dining rooms, and beauty parlor.
• Sweep and mop floors, clean rugs, carpets, and furniture.
• Clean toilets, sinks, and other restroom fixtures.
• Dust furniture, pictures, and baseboard. Wash walls, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty and clean wastebaskets, and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies for hand washing at sink areas and disposable gloves for nursing.
• Clean and disinfect oxygen machines and other equipment.
• Clean patient beds, mattress, furniture, drawers, bathroom, and closet when patient has been discharged.
• Follow guidelines for labeling of cleaning supplies, wearing appropriate personal protection equipment, etc. and label products and bottles according to facility guidelines.
