Park Avenue Nursing Home is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to help keep resident areas clean and safe. The role includes laundry-related tasks within a skilled nursing setting, with a full-time schedule and every other weekend requirement.

The workplace emphasizes a supportive leadership team and a friendly, team-oriented atmosphere. Ideal candidates will have housekeeping experience and knowledge of sanitation procedures, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or skilled nursing is a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, organized, and professional.
• Flexible schedule with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Properly handle cleaning products and supplies.
• Replenish housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests.
• Work collaboratively with staff to support a clean and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
