Job summary

The Waters of McKenzie is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeping Aide to join our team in McKenzie, TN. Under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping, you will clean resident rooms and other areas to maintain a clean, attractive environment for residents.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to follow directions, and capacity to work independently. Health screening and English communication proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Must be able to set work priorities and work independently when supervisor is absent.
• Health assessment requirements including two-stage Mantoux skin test.

Under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping, this position is delegated the following essential functions:

• Cleaning resident rooms and other interior and exterior facility areas and assisting in maintaining a clean and attractive environment for the residents
• Carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures

Job Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or sufficient knowledge and education to perform job functions
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions
• Is capable of setting work priorities and working independently in the absence of supervision
• Must meet health assessment requirements, including two-stage Mantoux skin test
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
