Job summary

Oxford Enhanced Senior Living is hiring a Housekeeping Aide. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with daily pay and an all-inclusive hourly wage. The Housekeeping Aide will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff.

The responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, disinfecting equipment, and stocking supplies while following safety protocols. A strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Follow established safety precautions and manufacturer instructions when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties in line with housekeeping standards, safety guidelines and infection control practices.
• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, dining rooms, and offices.
• Maintain clean, organized utility and storage rooms.
• Disinfect and sanitize equipment, furnishings, and supplies per procedures.
• Dust furniture, fixtures and equipment for a welcoming environment.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork and other surfaces as needed.
• Clean inside resident room windows, doors and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
• Keep housekeeping carts stocked and chemicals secured when not in use.
• Follow safety precautions when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards and supply needs to appropriate staff.
• Collaborate with team to maintain high cleanliness standards across the facility.

Responsibilities for Housekeeping Aide:

• Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and infection control practices.

• Clean assigned areas, including but not limited to resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public restrooms, and offices.

• Maintain utility and storage rooms in a clean, organized, and orderly condition.

• Disinfect and sanitize equipment, furnishings, and supplies according to established procedures.

• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.

• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces as assigned.

• Clean the inside of the resident room windows, door panels, and window sills.

• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste materials to designated disposal areas.

• Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean, organized manner, stocking necessary supplies at the end of each shift, and ensuring that chemicals not in use remain securely stored.

• Follow all established safety precautions and manufacturer guidelines when handling and using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to appropriate personnel.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas of the facility maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance.

Qualifications for Housekeeping Aide:

• Ability to follow established safety precautions and manufacturer instructions when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
